How many skeins will I need?
It depends on your mesh size, your stitch and how much of the design a colour carries. Our kits take the guesswork out entirely — the threads come matched to the canvas. If you're building a palette for your own project, err on the side of one more skein than you think you'll need, and if you're not sure, send us a photo of your canvas and we'll happily help you estimate.
Can you use Silk & Ivory on 18 mesh?
Yes — Silk & Ivory suits both 13 and 18 mesh canvas. On 13 mesh it gives lovely full coverage; on 18 mesh it stitches up fuller and plusher, so keep your tension relaxed and work a small test corner before you commit.
