A$50 covers three skeins of Silk & Ivory and their postage. A$80 covers a keyring kit and its postage. A$150 covers a framed cameo kit and its postage. A$200 covers a passport kit, with room for a few skeins of Silk & Ivory.
Orders of A$150 or more ship free within Australia. Under that, postage is a flat A$10.
Why a first kit makes a lovely present
When I was on maternity leave, I wanted something other than my phone to pick up in the quiet moments at home. Needlepoint became that for me: a few rows at a time, and a piece slowly coming together.
I think that's why a first kit makes such a good present. It's something to pick up on the couch in the evenings or over the summer holidays, with the phone in another room, and at the end there's a keyring, a framed piece or a passport cover they made themselves. If you're not sure which design they'd love, a gift card lets them choose.
Happy stitching,

Questions
How does sending work?
When you choose your amount, tick "I want to send this as a gift", then add their email address, their name, a short message and the date you'd like it to arrive. We'll email the gift card to them on that day. If you'd rather give it in person, leave the box unticked and the card comes to your inbox, ready to print or forward.
What can they spend it on?
Any kit, canvas, thread or accessory in the shop, and postage too. Orders of A$150 or more ship free within Australia, and under that, postage is a flat A$10.
What if they've never stitched before?
Then a kit is where I'd start. Needlepoint is a little like stitch-by-numbers: you learn one basic stitch, then follow the colours painted on the canvas. Each of our kits comes with the canvas, Silk & Ivory threads and a needle, and our step-by-step guide walks through the first stitches. The Initial Keyring Kit is a good small first project.
Can I choose the date it arrives?
Yes. Pick a send date when you add their details and the card goes to them by email that day, so you can buy it now and have it arrive on Christmas Day or a birthday. If you leave the date empty, it goes as soon as you place your order.
How long does a gift card last?
Three years from the day it's bought, and the expiry date is shown on the card.
What if their order costs more than the card?
They pay the difference at checkout with another payment method. If their order comes to less, whatever's left stays on the card for next time.
